DREAMING// ON THE UP
Offspring and Nike asked me to create something with their reboot on the SNDRS. They wanted it displayed in their store so I knew I had to do something good.
The colours of the sneakers are quite playful, so I wanted to highlight them in this way.
My work often entertains deconstructing the sneaker so I wanted to have one balloon intact and they other in the motion of being popped.
This particular piece also plays with it being an optical illusion with the gravity defining nature of the balloons. no supports. Just easy and pleasing to look at.
A design that shows off and displayers the sneakers without losing their integrity and telling a story.
